Stichting Nederlandse Gladiolentelers Combinatie. (Dutch Gladioli Breeders' Syndicate) Founded in 1980, the main goal of the foundation is the promotion of Gladioli culture and the enrichment of the Gladioli range. Some of Holland's best breeders work for GLACO , improving and expanding the Gladioli assortment. New varieties protected by breeders' rights are taken into production by GLACO and put on the market while meeting high-quality standards.

PRODUCTS

The total area of Gladioli grown under the supervision of GLACO has increased dynamically since 1980, and now covers nearly 100 ha excellent Gladioli. The GLACO-assortment contains over twenty varieties, ranging from "older" proven Gladioli varieties like the white 'Amsterdam', to "young" promising new varieties. New varieties are tested all over the world for their qualities and use to growers, before they are put onto the market.

MARKETING

GLACO aims to co-ordinate production and sales by specific market research into demand for quality and quantity.
